Siddharth Rajeev, B.Tech (Electronics Engineering), MBA (Finance)
Vice-President - Head of Research


Sid joined Fundamental Research Corp. in April 2006. At FRC, he oversees the research department, and also covers a broad array of companies, primarily in the Energy, Mining, and Technology sectors. Prior to FRC, he has had a mix of engineering and finance experience including corporate finance experience at a leading Investment Bank in Kuwait.  Sid has ranked as a 4 star analyst in the energy and mining sectors by Deutsche Asset Management, a division of Deutsche Bank.  His picks in the energy and mining sector in 2009, were determined to outperform their respective benchmarks after transaction costs.

Sid holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science & Technology, and an MBA (Finance) from The University of British Columbia. He is also a Level 3 candidate in the CFA program, and has completed studies in exploration and prospecting at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.  Sid is sought by the media for commentary on the valuation of small cap stocks and industries he covers, and is a speaker at various investment conferences.
 

Vincent Weber, B.Sc.
Research Associate - Mining
 

Vincent graduated from the University of Waterloo in the interdisciplinary Honours Science and Business program.  This has equipped Vincent with a unique blend of knowledge in technology, science and business, as well as information technology.  His educational experience also built the backbone for knowledge in geological research including regional deposit and structure mapping, sample interpretation and technical report writing.

Vincent has given presentations at various investment conferences related to his areas of focus - mineral projects and small cap companies.  He has conducted due diligence site visits on mining projects around the world, from Peru to right at home in Canada.

Randall Hsu, BBA
Research Associate
 

Randall graduated from Simon Fraser University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Finance). He is currently a level 3 candidate in the CFA program. In addition to his educational experience, Randall is actively involved with local investor groups that focus on fundamental research and value investing. He is a member of a Vancouver based value investor group, with 460 registered members, and an assistant organizer of a sister group that focuses on in-depth discussions about the securities markets.

Yan Lan, BBA
Research Associate

Yan earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Corporation Finance and Financial Planning) at Trinity Western University. During her studies at Trinity Western University, she was involved in activities related to accounting and finance with the Student Business Association. This educational experience has provided Yan with extensive knowledge on financial analysis.
